AN EXPERT ON MY FIELD

Last Time I wrote about a photography that I liked, today I will write about a designer that I really like, I want to write about Steven Smith, he is a designer from the United States and is one the biggest designers in the sneakers industry.

He is the the designer of Reebok revolutionary sneaker called "Pump fury" it was first launched on 1994 as a running shoe. 

It it took the whole market by surprise  with it's innovative design featuring a crazy colourway, the Pump Fury blowed the minds of every person that saw it from first time. 

What made  and still makes the Pump Fury so fantastic at is the "Pump" system, a system designed to customize the fit of the shoe the way the user would like, it also incorpored the latest technology from Reebok, lighter weight support, new cushioning and a laceless technology. 

At first it was hard for Steven to convice the executives from Reebok to launch the shoe with it's original colourway a bright red with and a citron yellow, to the point that he spray painted the shoe with the colours that the company wanted, to prove his point. 

That if they wanted to do something really new they should do a crazy colourway for the shoe.

Steven later stopped working for Reebok but made history in other brands as Nike, New Balance and Adidas gaining the nickname of "The Godfather of Dad Shoes".

It's a great designer and I really enjoy all of his work.
